New YouTube Playlist

The new playlist on YouTube is called Avita Yoga and A Course in Miracles. They are short video classes corresponding with the workbook lessons of ACIM. Thank you, Lisa Cutcheon, who poured her heart and soul into these one-on-one classes. We had fun!

We Cannot Heal Alone.

Yoga means “to join.” And to join is to heal because it moves us beyond the limited idea of a separate self.

We heal with and through others! Not necessarily in form but in mind. You can watch, listen, or practice the simple shapes with us as I share the readings and gentle commentary. We followed the guidance and started spontaneously. And so, the flow of yoga and content seemed to improve as we progressed.

For Lori and I, The Course has been our guide and, in many ways, the cornerstone of our marriage for the last 30 years. At times, we didn’t like it and didn’t understand it, and yet we trusted that an experience would come to end our doubting. We are grateful to the many teachers who would appear to help clarify and inspire.

Non Dual Teachings

Like many, I have come to know The Course as the Western version of the Advaita Vedanta, an ancient Eastern thought system that translates to “not two.” In other words, it is a practice that leads to the truth we share as one Love. The goal is practical and direct: To know the source of happiness. To find it, we must look within and clear the inner obstacles to happiness, which results in practical guidance from a Source that always has our best interest in mind. It takes trust, but that’s what trust is for.

Practice paid off, and the inner Voice for Love came through in the fall of 2010. It inspired a lot of material, including my book on the Yoga Sutras: The Yoga Mind. It guided me and Lori through Yoga Loft and the evolution of Avita Yoga. The Course has helped Lori and me through difficult times and completely transformed how we see each other and the world around us.

I hope this sheds light on “my work.” Rarely does a moment pass in the thousands of classes I’ve taught and practiced where Love’s Presence is not guiding me along the way. I feel eternally blessed to share this work on so many levels with so many willing and wonderful people like you.

Thank you for reading. I appreciate your support. We’re in this together…

With love,
Jeff
