We all have two things in common. No matter how wonderful life may be, we all share the same inner ache to know who we are. This ache is the driving force behind much of what we see and experience in the world. From Shakespeare to Mic Jagger, this inner ache provides inspiration for greatness, passion and creativity. We are attracted to it because we resonate with it on some level. But this ache is also expressed in less productive ways through violence and random acts of subtle aggression. We all have this inner ache, but we also all have the ability to heal it and discover the essence of Who we are (regardless of what we do). This is the higher form of yoga that heals. Heal your mind and heart and your body will take care of itself. As you step onto your mat, let the form of yoga be an outer expression of your inner desire and goal to heal. It will slowly become the way to real joy, peace and inspired creativity.
